Traveling to Muenster, in Germany, is easy since there is excellent public transport connections to the city. Most people arrive by train to the main railway station called Muenster Hauptbahnhof. It is located in the city center, close to all main attractions. Reach it by taking an ICE, IC, EC, or RE train from any major city in Germany or Europe. 

From the station, you can either walk around downtown, take a taxi or use the city's public transport services. There are several bus and tram lines that connect the city center with the suburbs, and the night bus runs from 12 pm to 5 am. The lines can be identified by the color and number of the line, and the timetable can be found at the information centers located at the station.
