Exploring Italy by Train: Rome to Salerno! 

Traveling by train is one of the best ways to explore Italy. Taking the train from Rome to Salerno is no exception. The journey starts in Rome at the Roma Termini Station. From here, you can take one of the regular trains that run to the Naples. The trip takes about an hour and a half, passing through some of the most iconic Italian towns and cities such as Civitavecchia, Fiumicino, and Nettuno on the way. Once in Naples, there are frequent trains to Salerno, which take about an hour to reach the Salerno Centrale Station. 

Along the way, you will get to experience some of Italy's most famous landmarks and destinations. From Rome, you will pass by the beautiful coastal town of Civitavecchia and its picturesque harbor with its colorful fishing boats. As you then move south towards Naples, you'll get to take in stunning views of the Aurelia National Park and the many vineyards of the Gaeta region. Finally, on the way to Salerno, you can enjoy the breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast and the many iconic fishing villages along the way.
